A Catch up ...

Sounds Familiar - It's been a few weeks since I blogged... well that's correct but there have been a few things happening in the meantime including the following:-

The Poole experience - a weekend down at Poole with Janet and Andy, the chance to se some of he countryside and take a few piccies of the event including some great shots of Cygnets.

Lundy Island - Weather could have been a little better but an interesting day out exploring this Island off the coast of North Devon. Didn't see any Puffins though.

Amsterdam - Spent a few days here (3 nights) with a mix of culture and chilling out. Very nice hotel in the city centre meant that we walked most places.

The Jersey Boys - the last of Carol's birthday presents was a trip to London to see the musical of the same name - the story of Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons. Very good production - long coach trip.

Sailing has moved to the back burner recently partly due to the above but I am hoping to resume again soon - today perhaps if the weather holds out after all it is Glastonbury this weekend.

I bought a new toy for the computer - a 3850 graphics card for the Vista PC which allowed the existing card to be passed down to the 2nd machine. It's performing well too - with a Windows score of 5.9 and an overall score (lowest) of 5.7)
