Broadband - what's that then?

I have almost forgotten what that is at the moment after waiting almost a month to get my broadband transferred to Sky from Nildram. Incompetant is a polite name for them and terrible for the service I have recieved so far. In fact I'm so annoyed by it all that this is all I want to say right now.

On a lighter note there have been a few things happening since I last blogged. The boat has been finished and is ready for the first sail of the new season. Photos to follow when I have my broadband connection up again - Doh I said I wouldn't say that. The name is "Bright Spark" leaning heavily towards the electrical reference.

The last blog mentioned the twin monitors, well there have been a few changes to the PC of late. The major one has been the installation of Windows Vista Business Edition. This has resulted in the "need" to change the processor to an AMD Athlon 64 dual core and an extra 1 GByte of RAM. The casualty was the network card though that refused to work under Vista. A trip to Novatech soon sorted that though and now the PC talks across the network.

The next thing to look forward to is the holiday in Cornwall - Watergate Bay for a few nights with a meal at Jamie Oliver's restaurant and a nice relaxing time.

See you soon...
