Isn't it great when things just work

Like the handsfree kit for my car and my new (replacement) DAB radio. The Parrot kit that I bought installed like a dream and worked first time. Following a software update on my Blackberry it now syncs with my address book every time it it connects so I have all of my contact numbers to hand - brilliant.

The DAB radio is another killer gadget too. Running off mains only at the moment as I am still waiting for the charge(battery) pack. Works great as an alarm clock and gets the time automatically when you plug it in even if he radio isn't switched on. It's stereo and the sound is great. It certainly gets my vote.

Since I last posted there have been a few things happening - the last month seems to have been a time for lots of activity on our part including :-

• Mary Black Concert at Symphony Hall - Excellent!!

• The Eagles at the NIA - Just as good as I remember them

• Carol's Birthday - Some nice pressies, a trip to London and a meal out in Bristol

• A business trip to Barcelona

• Sailing again with some good weather but light winds to date ideal for getting back into the swing of things

• Offsetting the effects of Curry and Beer by regular visits to the Gym

• Stocking up on memory cards 3x2GB in preparation for our holiday on October now only around 3 months away

This hasn't left us much time for boring things like housework so perhaps a blitz is required this weekend.Broadband is still "interesting" with some instances of high speeds and then falling off to around 1.4 Meg for a while - still being chased by Nildram support and BT
