Easter Break

 

The Easter break has been less than good weather wise this year so it meant that we had the opportunity to do a bit of a spring clean around the house. That included throwing out a lot of old software CD's  that I don't use anymore and making space for the next collection of Junk.

The holiday has been good so far though being a welcome break which doesn't end until Wednesday morning.

I finally decided on a new camera bag and after much deliberation went for a Lowepro Slingshot 300 AW which I managed to fit all of my gear into. It's bit heavy though and the main culprit is the combination of the 5D, battery grip and the 100-400mm L series lens which is quite heavy.

Had some to fiddle around on the computer and I downloaded and installed Vista Service Pack 1 - so far without any drama. It's a large download at 728 MByte for the 64 bit version.

A few jobs around the house including cleaning the car and mowing the lawn - so what happened to the Snow then?

Finally there are a couple of artists that I am taking an interest in at the moment the first Beth Rowley has been played on Radio 2 for a few weeks now and has an album coming out on the 25th March. So too Gabriella Cilmi who is a favourite of Radio 2 and her album is out at the end of the month.
