Not a good weekend

Thought it might be a good idea to go back to see the outlaws over the Bank Holiday weekend and it turned out to not be a good idea.

Saturday was a good day we went shopping at Solihull. I treated Carol to an IPOD Mini from my recent overtime and we planned to get back on Sunday night to load up some tracks on it.

Unfortunately on the way back to Mom's on sunday morning we had an accident with a car that was being chased by the police. The car was a right off but fortunately all three of us were generally ok. Carol had a fractured nose, mom had bruising to the chest caused by the seatbelt and I seemed to be largely unscathed.

The following days were a nightmare with frequent visits from the police and the problem of how to get back home without a car - we eventually hired one and got home Tuesday at around 2.00pm. Goodness knows what there is to follow with the police and the dealings with the insurance company etc. - i'll keep you posted...
